1. Chihara Minori - Junpaku Sanctuary

Very beautiful voice, and her career has only just started! Yuki of Haruhi and Chiaki of Minami-ke are two awesome characters she voices. Looking forward to Haruhi season two since it features Yuki quite a bit. :3

2. Daft Punk - Around the World / Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

I’m very fond of Daft Punk ( two of their songs are on this list!), and "Alive 2007" is no exception. I would’ve used Kanye West’s "Stronger", but I enjoy listening the nice beats on this version much more. Did you know Juna enjoys this song? Especially after her upgr-*ducks beamspam* Forgot about that.

3. Daft Punk - One More Time / Aerodynamic

Played this at the closing ceremony. I dunno, after this past year, I don’t think I could handle one more round of this. But all in all, putting this on your mp3 player is highly recommended.

4. The Hives - It Won’t Be Long

Running away (for whatever the reason) sounds more awesome listening to this song.

5. Utada Hikaru - Beautiful World

I don’t have quite a reason why, but this song makes me very emotional. Could it be the lyrics?

6.  Reincarnation: Persona 3 - Burn My Dread

Other than the Engrish, very good opening song for this RPG. If you haven’t picked up Persona 3, do it now! Speaking of which, I still need to finish it. Sad ending is sad ;_;

7. Hot Chip - Boy From School

I’m not even sure how to describe this song. Very curious.

8. Jonathan Coulton - Big Bad World One

Life’s not fair. Life is cruel. The world is out to get you. Jonathan Coulton is awesome.

9. Vince Guarldi Trio - Christmas Time Is Here

Can’t be a December mix without some Christmas music, now can there? You can’t go wrong with the music for "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

10. Rita - Little Busters! (Little Jumpers Mix)

Rockin’. Very upbeat. Can’t wait to see a Little Busters! anime in the future.

Well, there you have it. Most of these songs can be bought legally off Amazon’s MP3 store. The exceptions are Burn My Dread, Beautiful World, and Little Busters. Those need to be imported. Jonathan Coulton’s Big Bad World One can be downloaded for free at his website.

My time at Neverath was odd to say the least, and full of ups and downs, seemingly random occurrences, and this current battle was only one of many. For the most part, I was swept into this madness with only a few key points that I directly decided upon. Just only the other day I thought everything would be okay, but every high has its lows. Her fiery red eyes stared me down as I said my final words.

"I’m just a fool in this walk through life…Memento Mori and all that."

She stopped. The glow in her eyes subsided and looked at me puzzled. She was worn out, much as I was, and the tattered clothes that barely kept on her body reminded me of how deadly this fight was. Did I really do that? Her breathing was harsh, and she could hardly speak.

"Is…that…you…Kaoru? What…happened…your hair…pink?"

I made a dash to catch her body as she passed into unconsciousness. The battle was over.

I didn’t know what caused her to attack me, and I knew I couldn’t get the truth out of Marilyn. She seemed just as unaware of the situation as I was. I tended to her wounds and dropped her back into the girls dorms. She seemed to get better as I let her drink a bit of my blood. It was a dangerous idea at the time as at anytime I could have fainted/died, but I didn’t care.

I came from that battle more confused than ever. Was Marilyn attacking me purely just her vampire instincts taking over, or is there a darker force at work here? What exactly is Neverath? Just calling it an elite school would be a severe understatement. Who are these people I call my peers? I don’t consider myself normal, but wow.

I looked at the mirror in my room. Who am I?
